Born in 1955 on the westside of Chicago, Red began playing piano at
the age of six, switching to guitar at age 12, & by 15 was playing
and listening to the music of the Chicago Blues scene. Seeing Muddy
Waters & Howling Wolf perform, as well as meeting Louis Armstrong
& Count Basie as a 10 year old had a lasting impact on his life,
& gave him a passion for creating music of his own, while
respecting the classic masters of the blues.
Red has also lived in New Orleans and is currently based in Los Angeles
as he sets up his next tour schedule.
